Scripture: “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Psalm 91:4

Devotional: There’s something deeply comforting about the image of God sheltering us under His wings. It’s a picture of safety, warmth, and care, just like a mother bird protecting her young from harm. When we face life’s storms, uncertainties, and fears, God invites us to find refuge under His wings, where we are shielded and secure.

God’s faithfulness is our constant protection. When the winds of life are howling, and we feel vulnerable or alone, His promise remains firm: He will not let us be shaken. Under His wings, we are safe. We are seen. We are loved. He covers us, not just from external troubles but also from the inner turmoil that tries to steal our peace.

Today, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, weary, or afraid, remember that you have a place of refuge in God. You don’t have to face life’s challenges on your own. Run to Him, find shelter in His presence, and let His faithfulness be your shield against whatever comes your way.

Reflection: Where do you seek refuge when life gets tough? Reflect on the image of God’s wings covering you and think about what it means to find safety and peace in His presence. How can you turn to Him more in your daily life?

Prayer: “Lord, thank You for being my refuge and strength. When I feel exposed and vulnerable, remind me that I can find shelter under Your wings. Help me to trust in Your faithfulness and to rest in the comfort of Your presence. Thank You for always being my shield. Amen.”

Action: Today, whenever you start to feel anxious or overwhelmed, take a moment to pause, close your eyes, and picture yourself under God’s wings, safe and secure. Let this image be a reminder that you are never alone; He is always there, covering you with His love.
